By my hometown team...

I’ve never been so disinterested in watching a Superbowl as I am this year. I guess it would be sort of cool to see Los Angeles get a Superbowl Championship for the 1st time since 1984, but I don’t like the way things played out for my Saints. We got a raw deal.

LA...such a great football town that 2 teams left, one came back though and now there's 2 together and they never sellout, brillant job by the NFL.

What are you talking about? The LA Coliseum is packed for every game. I’ve been to a bunch of games since we got NFL back in town.

Saints vs. Chargers

The Rams held a Superbowl rally this past Saturday at their new soon to be completed NFL stadium. So many people showed up that they couldn’t fit everyone inside. There was a crowd nearly just as big gathered outside the stadium. [I didn’t go to this]

I'm glad that you posted that, Eldo. The popular misconception is that LA is indifferent to professional sports. Obviously, that's not the case anymore.

I feel your pain with that non-call in the Saints game.
Parkey missing that field goal is just about the worst thing that I have ever seen as a Bears fan.

Think pats but it will be close in the second half. Think the pats will come out strong then rams rally.

Rams been so lucky between the bears game and the saints game it’s gotta run out

I stand corrected Eldo, I did a Google search for attendance and the LA Rams are #10, the upper third of the NFL. I couldn't find the LA Chargers though, maybe I didn't scroll down far enough

Does anyone know where the LA Chargers rank for attendance

I think the chargers play in a temporary soccer stadium that only holds 30k they are set to move in 2020 ( I think )

•Upon undergoing even further introspection:

-Nope...Not watching another example of
what is, IMO: crude sybaritism that extols
the so-called “virtures” of a bunch of genetic
and/or steroids-enhanced freaks-of-nature.

I used to be a huge NFL fan. Now I couldn't care less.

Hall of Famers such as Ronnie Lott, Lawrence Taylor, or Reggie White wouldn't even last a series today without getting flagged right out of the game.

Should be called the NDL: No Defense League.

I love when they celebrate the passing yards and passing TD records being broken. How in the hell could they not be broken??

A defender can't even look at a receiver the wrong way today without a spot PI call. (Oh.......... unless the NFC Championship is on the line.)

And the way they flag any defender for QB hits is mind boggling.

I'll stick with my NCAA FB. (Which isn't perfect, but much more enjoyable to me.)

While I agree with you the game is softer..LT wouldn't even be able to make it on the field today with all the trouble he got into

I would like to see Rams win but the patriots have Tom Brady it’s hard to sanely bet against him. Patriots by two scores.

American football is a game like no other you miss a block or take a play off your buddy gets crushed. It’s a good way to find out if your soft or not. An NFL CB is the best athlete in the world. I also watch premier league I like the smooth constant flow and beautiful passing it nice to watch. The flopping like they got shot by a sniper is annoying when contact is made.

I was elsewhere last weekend and the Pro Bowl was on, did happen to see that farce? There was NO tackling, l mean even less than what's in the No Fun League now. I stopped watching 4 years ago when the rule changes started getting dumb, woman were being beaten and then the Not For Long started running those "No More" commercials, yeah, those lasted a long, one season! Can't wait to see what "we'll take a chance on questionable players" team takes the guy from K.C....yeah No More, no more my arse

Tom Brady isn’t as money as he seems in the Superbowl. Think about it, Pats lucked out when they beat the Seahawks, they lucked out thanks to the Falcons blowing a 23pt lead like only the Falcons would do...

They lost twice to the Giants, they should’ve lost to Andy Reids Eagles if it weren’t for Andy Reids horrible conservative playcalling in that game, they cheated using SpyGate vs. the Rams, they lost to the Eagles in last years SB...

Contrary to popular belief, the Patriots have a history of sucking in the Superbowl. They’ve never won a SB by a margin of more than 1 score.
