Alright guys this weekend I am buying my supplies for my mobile detailing business. Altho I am going to practice on friends and family members cars as well as my own for a few months before I actually launch the business. I am getting the rinse less wash same kit together now that I will use when I launch so I am good and efficient with it. Heres the list I have so far...

for washing
2 5 gal buckets
2 lids
Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine
All Purpose Microfiber Towels
Pro Blend Bottle Proportioner
Grit Guard Insert
Super Plush Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt

Now my questions..
1 How many micro fiber towels should I order at first?
2 how many mits?
3 What tire/wheel cleaner would go along well with this system?
4 I will go with ONR wax. What the best way to apply this? towels? buffers?
5 what size shop vac should I start with?

Also since I am specializing in rinse less wash should I put that in my name like "rinse-less detailing or is mobile detailing fine?

Hope none of the questions sound stupid. But Ide rather ask a stupid question then do something stupid on a car!

1) I would go with one bucket, and use about (depending how dirty the car is/size) 5-10 mf towels. So since you're gonna do this as a business, I'm gonna guess, a lot?
i think a 360gsm will do fine, but others go 500gsm

are you gonna be using a clean side everytime you put the mf towel on the paint? if so, I wouldnt use the grit guards. doesnt mean you dont need em, but i wouldnt bother with the 2BM.

one bucket, fill it however many gallons you want, dilute accordingly, dump all the towels in the bucket, fold 4 ways, clean side every time, once towel is fully dirty, place it somewhere else, grab a new towel
2) 1
3) you could use the same ONR, APC, Sonax, etc...
4) whatever you can afford.. go to sears and get a small vac, it'll do fine

no, just put mobile detailing. i dont think many people know/care enough for that

I would use "*********** Mobile Detailing" as the name, either that or "******* Eco Friendly Detailing". Rinseless doesn't mean much to most people.

1. I would get no less than 15-20 MF towels dedicated to ONR washing.
2. Two wash mitts, in case one gets dropped or something.
3. I use APC+ and it doesn't seem to harm the rinseless abilities of ONR. Optimum Power Clean is supposed to work well with ONR also.
4. ONR wax? Do you mean Optimum Car Wax or Optimum No Rinse with Wax? When I use Optimum Car Wax I just spray it on a panel, wipe it down with a thick MF towel.
5. Small shop vac. Any Ridgid from Home Depot should do fine.

I would probably get a 5 gallon shop vac if you're just using it for dry pickup. I purchased a 15 or a 20 gallon because Home Depot had it on sale and its very bulky and if its filled it gets heavy.

Im deff good with home depot stuff.....cos I work there lol theres got my buckets

Sent from my SPH-D710 using AG Online

i like two wash mits one for the top of car only and one for bottom. you get a discount here if you order multiple at once

Thanks for all the advice guys. I got my buckets and lids from Home Depot (I work there lol) And the rest of the stuff I just ordered from Auto Geek. I couldn't get everything this go round but I got the most impotent stuff. And took advantage of the BOGO deals that the site is having lol
