Ok I got a question for anyone that's useing/used the surbuf pads how many of you have used them for anything other than cutting which i think there great :xyxthumbs: Or should I say used them to apply wax ect? Just wondering haven't seen much talk about it :dunno:

They wouldnt be any good for waxes. I have used them as a one step on a daily driver with Meguairs UC it finished really good

I wouldn't use them for waxing. They have a little cut in them which could mar your paint depending. Also the little fibers get everywhere. I use the for polishing only so I can wash away everything before applying LSP.

Surbuf pads are usually used if you need a pad that has more cut then an orange or light cutting pad.

I used one a while back with DG 671 Swirl Remover with good results. Check it out:

YESSS you did :poke: richy I had checked it out when you first put it up.. I gotta bump that post just for the incredible work you did on that omg!! And for me anyway 2 things came out of that post lol one ordered the surbuf's, the other this I gotta really thank you for. I took serious interest in 'Duragloss' products :dblthumb2: you still doing work for the funeral home by the way?

Oh sorry for all the babbling :D and thanks for answering everyone. But the question I guess was more to see what else everyone did with them Idk its like every time I pull a pad out of the box there it is the "magic" fingers and there ability to polish,add/remove wax ect. Just Wondering if anyone actually does anything other than cut I've come close to lsp ready and feel confident I would be able to if I spent more time using them only have twice but?
