What was used on this corvette

Surf City's- Road Trip Grime Destroyer
Surf City's Beyond Black Tire Pro
Surf City's Hi-Def Nano Seal Protective Coat

I first sprayed the Road Trip on the rims, lower fender area, and on the front bumper. Let sit about 30 seconds or so. Then hit it with the pressure washer, came right off. There was a bird bomb on the hood since friday. Also sprayed it with the Road Trip and it started to ooze it off. Before I hit it with the p.washer.

The vette was washed with the Shmitt and DP Xtreme Foam. Wasted alot of foamy soap, since it took all of less then 2 min. to wash it. Supreme Guzzler dried it right up

I then clayed the whole car using clay magic blue bar. No machine polishing was done at this time.

Then started with the Nano Seal- like directions state I used a circular motion with a MF app. I think it has some cleaners in it, since the app was getting dirty. Applyed it to the whole car, and let it sit for 30min before removal. Bottel said 20min.

Beyond Black Tire Pro was applyed. It gives a nice black look to the tires and has a very nice smell to it. I used a sweeping spray motion, then wiped excess off.

To me the nano seal gave the paint a more deep wet shine to it. And it seemed to get deeper as the time went by before I left.

what did you think of working with the nano seal?... i just used it on the hood and front fenders on my car after it was fully clayed and polished and it seemed kind of tough to remove? does look pretty nice but id like a second opinion on that part, i need to try it out a bit more though... it looks great on the vette.

So far it seems good. Now we will see how long it will last. I had no problem removing it, to me it was a little tough appling it.

Looks good :D thanks for the review. DOes the Road Trip Grime Destroyer strip LSP?

Looks very good. Those new Surf City products are looking more and more promising.

I do not know, but there is one way to find out.

So how do you like Surf City Garage products so far?

I will have to use it a few times to get the feel on it. I will say I really do like the Tire shine

The tire shine looks good - dark and shiny, but not glossy, do I have it right?

From the looks of it. And that's the way I like them. I may have to pick up some of that tire shine.

I have the tire shine already in my cart, it looks like a winner. Vette looks good!

Nice job Ed, thanks for the review, can tell you that their glass cleaner is great too.

Hi, Steven here from Surf City Garage. Thanks for your question.

Road Trip will usually strip LSP. But there could be an exception. It is possible that if you are using a very high-quality wax or sealer, then that might only get stripped partially. But depending on when you applied the wax or sealer, everything might get stripped anyhow.

The safest thing is to assume the LSP is stripped. So what we do is apply Speed Demon Wax Detailer after we use Road Trip.

Anyone else notice that it got deeper as time went by?
Nice review Ed, thank! Love the color! :applause:

Awesome vette, great detail! I had the opportunity to have this car in the same color for about a little less than a week. It was a blast to drive, my wife loved it.

+1 on that dressing. I'm liking the finish on the tires as well. Surf City's tire dressing goes on the list.

it is a pretty good dressing...not a lot of gloss, it has that "clean" look to it... my brother loved it, i personally admit i like more glossy tire products but this would be a winning look for most people. it is a very thin product...kinda watery so watch how much comes out

How did you apply the tire dressing? Regular ol' foam applicator?

Another question: is it in a squeeze bottle or spray bottle?

Pic says squeeze:

Text says spray:
"Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro is packaged in a spray bottle."

Me no likey spray bottle for tires - overspray = bad
