Been getting more serious about detailing on the side and a few weeks ago my wife surprised me. She secretely came up with a name for my detailing and made me a bunch of business cards! To top it off she also went online and got me a square card reader that I can plug into my Android phone and swipe credit/debit cards so people dont just have to pay me cash only. I've already handed these out to my loyal clients and a few other people that I know. I was also thinking of going to some auto parts stores around the area and put these in there stores on one of there business card boards they have. If any of you other detailers know of good ways to get your name out and increase your bussiness let me know! Right now my bussiness comes from reputation and word of mouth. Anyway here is said card.

Word of mouth is the best form of advertising, cheap too!!

Nice of your wife to do that for you, quite impressive! It's always good to have each others support.

Yes word of mouth is how I get most my business I'm not looking to grow big just keep steady. I have used Yelp,Manta and Google but not much business from them. Yelp hides all my 5 stars because I won't advertise with them.

For myself as a hobby and helping friends keeping their cars looking good, word of mouth keeps the hobby supplied with extra $ and dinner out once a week or so.
