This just popped on up on another forum I belong to.

Everyone is OK.

What do you think broke on it?

I will guess at least one blown tire.
One destroyed wheel.
Broken frame.
At least one broken axle.
And three herniated discs.

Chris,

Thats crazy! That Raptor got major air! It looks fun at the "monster truck" races but people fail to realize is those trucks are equipped to get air and

land "softly". It reminds me of when I took my girlfriend to the hydro plane races on the Detroit River. After I thought I was race boat driver

(20 years dumb) We went to my 27 foot speedboat for a ride and had an accident where she was injured( not seriously but...). I learned a valuable lesson that day. If you want to be dumb do it alone.

Modern day Dukes of Hazard!
You mean those Raptors aren't supposed to fly like that?

I'm sure the drivers back hurt the next day, that was a hard landing...

Being the proud owner of a 2013 Tux Black Raptor, it was like seeing my baby being molested!!!! Holy crap that hurt me deep in the gut.

I had the privilege of chatting with one the lead engineer at SVT and the max safe jump height is 3 feet.... and that was NOT 3 feet!! I sure hope he had the presence of mind to:

1) Install the frame reinforcement kit (or box the railing), because his frame (at the bed) will be bent for sure. This is a known weak point
2) I sure hope he had King 3.0 shock, bump stops, reinforced aftermarket skids
3) ..... actually it does not matter, it is SCREWED!

You can see in the vid that it automatically went into 911 mode and as soon as they opened the doors you can see the airbags are deployed

IDIOT! :nomore:

He was running Icon 3.0's, aftermarket bumpers, and skids. Reported distance is 82ft long and 22ft high. The owner was going to rebuild the truck anyway, a serious rebuild.

Dr Pain, you'll be glad to know that the frames for 2013 are reinforced. Not like its gonna matter when 3tons of metal fall from the sky. lol

We're still waiting for the full damage report.
