I think it was hologrammed by a body shop, and I was looking to correct some of the swirls and hologramming myself.
How hard swirls and holograms are to remove depends upon,
How deep they are into the paint
How hard the paint is.
Your skill level
Hand or machine application
Body shops use rotary buffers and wool pads and while these are GREAT tools, when used incorrectly they instill the swirls.
Would you clay, then use Swirl X followed by a protectant?
By hand or with a DA Polisher, that would be a good process and should remove all the medium to light swirls, or at least mask them by the type you applied your choice of wax or paint sealant.
I have read a bunch of stuff, and I am trying to make sense of a process. I crave a step by step, hand walking method so that I can maximize my work.
