Swirls in black paint

Hello I need a little direction or explanation here. I can't get these swirls out. I have tried
Boss 21:
Meg's MF finishing with M205
Meg's MF cutting with M205
Meg's MF cutting with D300
Meg's foam cutting pad with M100
Meg's MF cutting with M100
Got better results with CCS and M100 and got these results
It is a daily driver and I am a painter so color sanding and rotary are not a big deal to do but it is a daily driver. I am trying to learn the correcting side more..the truck looks good but once my light hits it they appear.

That is DA haze from the compound you are using. Switch down to a less aggressive product to further refine the finish. 205 with a soft foam pad should do the trick.
 
It's plausible your too aggressive and your paint/clear is too soft.

Try a LC Orange CCS pad. Prime pad with 205, then rinse it off with water, only to leave 205 & water in the pad.

Fill a spray bottle with water and spray a test spot the buff with the watered down pad.

Wipe with clean, soft, plush MF.

105 & 205 are super micro abrasive and keep working and not break down. They can also be recharged with water, so a diluted trial may be with a shot.

Also, double check your MF, you might mist it with water before you wipe.
 
You need either a white or black pad, and maybe like a Menzerna 4000-4500 to finish.
 
If it is a daily driver just use the Meguiars da system and be done with it. Keep it simple!
 
Thanks for all the replys guys! I will be sure to try them all. I do have menzerna 4000 as well. A little side note it seems like the clear scratches so easily. If I as much put my finger along the clear it scratches. This side has been repainted by the previous owner so it's not OEM paint. its a daily driver but I'm trying to learn what I'm seeing. I will be sure to post back and let you know what worked. Thanks.
 
You got better results from the foam because the MF pad is scouring/hazing the paint. Do 205 with a foam pad.
 
Thank you, I understand what you are saying but man it's crazy to think one clear is so far on the other spectrum as the next. It's different to think backwards a bit. I will get it.
 
All your methods are to aggressive if you see that you need to follow it with a polish and a polishing pad the least aggressive method you had was a mf cutting pad and 205 and thats still aggressive.

Use 205 with a foam polishing pad and it will come right out no questions asked.

That typically the first step you will see that da haze from the compound it means the paint is on the soft side

Stay away from microfiber for polishing use microfiber for cutting.

Foam finishes better then microfiber while microfiber cuts better
 
Also if your paint is that soft i would go with a polishing pad like a lake country orange or black pad and sf4000
 
Is the long throw on my boss to harsh should I go to my porter cable DA?

In the future, if your paint is soft you might get better results with a LC white pad than a black pad. The stiffer pad allows for a better finish because it doesn't smear the abrasives from flexing as much.
