Lemons was the long time sidekick of Don Garlits and one of the men responsible for sorting out the rear engine Top Fuel Dragster along with Crew Chiefing the greatest drag racer who has ever lived for more than 40 years (with a couple small breaks thrown in for good measure). Lemons was a hilarious guy and could tell stories like no one else we have ever met. Sad News: Right Hand Man of Don Garlits T.C, Lemons Passes - Helped Perfect Rear Engine Dragster and Crewed Garlits to Greatness


I was scheduled to shoot two full episodes with Don Garlits tomorrow but due to the passing of Don's long time friend we've rescheduled for February to allow Don time with family and friends. Ted Jones, a member of the Drag Racing Hall of Fame and also one of my celebrity guests was close personal friends with Don Garlits and also one of the Producers of our TV show. Ted has been here since Sunday as both a guest and a producer and he's left to be with his long-time friend Don.


Let's all keep the family of T.C. Lemons as well as all his friends in our prayers as they work through this time of remembering and sadness.

Truley a sad thing...My thoughts and prayers are with the Lemons' Family and those who were close to him.
