Tag Team! GTAHVIT and ihaveacamaro polish this 630 HP Camaro!

Normally I don't post my details as I don't think they are all that special, but this one is different.

A moderator on Camaro5 contacted me about helping him polish his car. He wanted to learn, rather than just have me do it.

For someone like that, I find it very difficult to charge money. I did ask for him to cover gas costs and acknowledge that he was going to be doing most of the work.

The Camaro is the 22nd Tom Henry Racing Camaro and is supercharged and makes over 630 HP!!!

The owner allowed me to drive it around and man it was way too much fun!! Horsepower like that is very very addicting!!

Sweet deal man! I too recently (Gear head across the street) watches me do my car and finally approached me wondering if I could lend a tip or 2.

I ended up basically doing as you did so that in the future he would know a few things himself. He owns a 3 speed 67 Mustang which was pretty cool to work around. He ended up buying me a case of beer after and we sat and talked cars for a few hours. Cool guy and was great to be around someone who truly appreciates what really do!

Haha don't worry. I'm quitting a few side jobs when I come to davie, detailing cars being one of those. I'm only going to do an oddball here and there and my own when I have the time.

Kudos to you man! I personally felt much more satisfied teaching the guy how to take care of his car than getting paid to do it for him. Nothing better than knowing you helped someone learn so that they may do it on their own.
