Hi everyone, I was taking my tail light out and broke a triangular piece off the corner. I glued it back together, and while the joint I made is pretty good, you can still feel it with your finger tip and there's a slight depression in one part.

To make this joint as unnoticeable as possible I was thinking of sanding with either 2000 or 1500, then waxing.

I don't have a buffer, so I'll be doing it all by hand.

Does this sound like a good procedure? or can anyone give me a better process?

look for a replacement lamp on Ebay or local U-Pik-It lot. If any water gets into it you could be looking for trouble.

Hopefully you can get a lens for cheap..don't mess wiht that.
