Take me through the steps; my first black car

Alrighty, well I believe that settles it:D

I am definitely going to take some before and after pictures, because in the right light, I get disheartened at the sight of all the marks in the paint:( Given, its small things that not everyone would notice, but I am a tad obsessive compulsive, and small imperfections get weighed the same as large ones....

Oh, and lastly, is it possible to use the paste with the buffer? Or is it better by hand? Not that it matters too much, I am stronger in my right arm anyhow....:p

When you hand wax your car its very personal and loving.....no machines;)

I prefer to use the term "caressing" the car ... gentle in motion, swift in removal ..... oh heck, just use your hands like Bill said. :D

Rock on, thanks guys! There is a car show coming up the 15th of July, and I want this thing gleaming

WOW.

Got my wonderful box-o-goodies the other day, and was blown away!
Everything was packaged exceptionally, and they even sent me a free bottle of foam pad applicator cleaner:righton:

The other thing that made me feel warm and fuzzy was upon opening the Souveran Wax, I discovered it comes in its own little bag with a drawstring. I shed a tear.

So now I just have to get the brakes on my Explorer fixed so I am not driving my Mustang everyday through this horrid weather, and then have some nice alone time with my car. Bare feet, Berry white, a camera, oh yeah...

Alright! Alright! Enough talk on this thread......

Now where's the :Picture: of that beautiful black Mustang?

I think you need to be a member to look at the pics. I was directed to just a main gallery page. :(

I guess thats what happens when you drink and post:cheers:

Actually, I don't drink, so I have no idea what my excuse is:( Link is fixed though!

Nice car!! Looks really good. Is the main picture after the wreck or before? Sucks about that stupid guard rail and insurance... life goes on though.

Thanks!
All the pictures of the car in one piece are after the wreck. I hate the fact that I have no pictures of it before I destroyed it, before the wheels, louvers, and bumper. Its nice having someting to look back on every now and then:p But to quote my body guy "wrecking this thing's the best thing you've ever done".....

The process began today:righton:
I finally got my Explorer running so I can now drive it instead of my car everyday, and took advantage of the good weather by giving the Mustang a nice wash. However, I am disgusted with the amount of bug death marks that have remained on the front end. OH and I also made a vow to never, never, drive this car at night ever again. So since the car show is this Saturday, what would you guys suggest as a good guts remover that I can pick up locally? Or would the clay bar or wax take care of it?
