So I made the mistake of getting some Traminator on the plastic trim of my side mirrors and now it has left a whitish film/discoloration on the plastic. I read the product instructions before use, but when I saw the 'safe on exterior trim,' that was the end of my reading so I missed the part that said to be cautious around plastics. At this point I wanted to see if anybody else has ran into similar issues as well as recommendations as to how to correct the discoloration? Would any type of pad/product combo be appropriate, or do I just need to look into plastic dye/restoration products? If it makes any difference, it seems like the film is somewhat tacky to the touch compared to the unaffected parts of the plastic.

Thanks in advance.

Oh my, I just bought a bottle of this but haven't use yet. Not that I plan on using it on plastic but I might be using on wheel well. Guess not anymore. Sorry to see that, hope someone with knowledge will chime in to help you.

Same happened to me. I scrubbed with apc and coated with dlux.

What APC did you use in your case? Also, how long has the finish from the DLux lasted (has it faded at all)?
