I have seen a few people with tattoos in reflections in write ups so I figured we could use a thread to show off any tattoos or piercings you may have.

Here is my first one that I got done about 8 months ago. It's a railroad worker in front of a celtic knot, and it says "nothing without work" in Gaelic below it. It's sort of a tribute to my family history since when my great grandfather came to this country he was a lowly railroad worker, and worked his way up to becoming a very successful business man. It really reminds me that nothing in life comes easy, but hard work will always pay off.

So lets see some others!

Do you speak Gaelic? My family does but I don't. I like your tat. I love that its original! I'll have to edit mine and post what I can. I've got a lot of traditional style tats (sleeve, chest, ribs, & legs) which includes quite a few naked girls. My grandpa was tattooed by Sailor Jerry in Hawaii while in the Navy.

Thanks! I speak it to the point that I know some sayings, but I couldn't hold a conversation. That is AWESOME about your grandpa! My next tattoo is actually a Sailor Jerry inspired one. Very similar to the one with the sailor girl wrapped in the American flag!

Can't wait to see what you've got! :dblthumb2:

Oh, and before someone chimes in, the artwork isn't totally original, it was actually very similar to some used on a old Dropkick murphys concert poster, but the story of my family history fit so well i had to use it and add the words.

I might have something to share with you Davey... Im the MAN My camera isn't on my right now though.

Nice! I have 9 tats right now and plan on a bunch more... Here are my two "favorite" ones:

This says Mishpacha (Hebrew for Family read right to left)

I also have my platoon tattoo from Iraq, a 1* in an American flag, a cobra, and a sceptre.

Seeing some really great tattoos in here fellas! Great work!

I'll try to get one up in the next day or so, tried to take a pic of it myself last night (on my calf) and couldn't get a good shot that wasn't blurry or blown out by the flash.

I know it's rather cliche, but I have "To Live For Today" written in Japanese on my shoulder.

I'd like to get another one some day, just don't know what....

Ok, I decided to just post this pic. This was literally taken within about 2 hours of the color work being finished back in 2002. It still looks pretty close due to my OCD use of sunblock on it whenever I go outside in shorts, but I can try and get a pic of it now if anyone wants. By the way, this is a cover-up as well. Also there's quite a bit of flash glare on the dragon's face and back in the pic.
