Do you guys charge your customers taxes or do you include it in your price?

I like to put it in the price too. As a consumer I hate seeing it added to a sticker price.

No service tax charges for my Customers here in Texas! :) unless they buy a product... but i'm sure they'll tax it soon enough.

You really need to find out what your State's Tax Laws say about: Sales and Use Taxes for Car Wash and Detail Facilities.

Otherwise (IMO):
You probably pay taxes on your supplies, tools, etc...
You should charge your customers taxes for Detailing services rendered.

As an aside:
I hope you are claiming the tips from customers, when filing your State, Local, and Federal Income Taxes.

included in the price.

tried to do it the other way and it required extra time to calculate, making change, and everyone wants to ask if they pay cash will you not charge sales tax. If its already in the price they can't ask to get around it

It's generally easier to just keep in in the price. Just be mindful when you are calculating your total price so you don't get stuck eating $100.

thanks everyone. i will include it in my price
