This is exciting news and a new chapter in Autogeek's history as well as partnership with the Rupes company.

I know Mike will be taking a lot of pictures to share on the forum so stay tuned to AGO! Im the MAN

Good to see! Looks like Rupes is comin' in hot into the detailing world. Can't wait to see Mike teach how to use it in September.

What, no contest to take one lucky contestant along?
Oh yes....do another count down on posts again. That was the craziest thing I've seen on this forum. So many people on here in the middle of the night.

Have fun and bring back some fun facts about Rupes. Just don't tell them we don't all use their pads and polishes all the time.

It's a real honor to travel to Milan, Italy and be the guest of Rupes. I really like their polishers and sanders and later today I'll share a project my buddy Jay and I knocked out last night using Duettos with Rupes pads and polishes.

Ask an Rupes Engineer a question?
I know a lot of you if given the chance, would like to ask the engineers at Rupes a few questions.

Since I'll be there in person attending meetings with the engineers, if anyone has a question they would like to ask, if it's a serious question and asked in a professional and courteous manner, I will be glad to ask these questions while I'm there and then post the answers when I return to work.

Sharing pictures on the fly
I will also be taking pictures with my iPhone and posting them to my Facebook page starting on Sunday and continuing throughout the entire trip for anyone that wants to follow along.

Trusty dusty Canon
I'm also taking along my trusty dusty Canon T5i and with their permission, if I'm allowed to take pictures I will and then I'll post them here on the AGO forum.

Rupes Detail Shop
Marco D'Inca has been to Autogeek and attended one of my detailing boot camp classes and since then he's been building a new state-of-the-art detailing studio. I've seen a few pictures of this new shop while it was being built so I'm also excited to see it in person.

:)

Maybe you could ask them if they have any new polishers/products in the works for the detailing industry?

Also, tell them we need more Rupes t-shirts...the nicest auto related t shirts I've owned.

I'll for sure ask... not sure if they'll share and if they did share chances are highly likely that I couldn't tell anyone else.

I agree, they have nice shirts, I like my collared Rupes shirt the best...

When I read this I said to myself "what else could they make they already have 4 electric and then the air machines?". But then I thought about another recent thread here (which I don't think I read :o ) about cordless polishers...perhaps THAT's the ticket!

Bigfoot II.

15mm throw and able to use 3" & 5" BPs on the same machine interchangeably like a PC.

Or, maybe a 2" electric polisher...what about 3" non tapered foam pads? 2" foam and MF pads?

I bet they could make a Master Blaster type device that would sell well.. I got all kinds of ideas.
