Thank you Autogeek!!!!!

Last night, around 7:15, UPS showed up with my package from Autogeek. Because of the holiday season, drivers just drop and run so I went outside to get my package, UPS was already gone, and I can see that something exploded inside the box. It was the solvent bottle in the Dodo Juice Homebrew kit. I was really disappointed because it was a gift I was really looking forward to giving my father. After opening the package and inspecting the contents, I decided to take pictures of the damage.

Around 7:30pm, I called Autogeek Customer service (almost 100% sure they would be closed) but got through to somebody who instructed me to email them pictures. Around 8:00pm, I sent the email.

Fast forward to this morning at 9:00am, I get a call from Trey who was super helpful and made the situation perfectly right. I didnt even have to complain or get upset or anything.

Although there was initial disappointment on my side, everything is fine and dandy now. These things happen and its nothing to get mad about...sometimes timing just isnt on your side.

Thank you Autogeek for your great customer service, that was really top notch in my book.

Damn UPS, although i don't blame them for being in a rush. My building alone gets approximately 100 packages a day via UPS alone for the past 2 weeks.

Glad everything worked out, sucks about the DoDo Juice home brew though

Well luckily AutoGeek is awesome and I already have another one on the way. I spent some time last night cleaning the old one of all the solvent and was able to clean it enough to be able to wrap it for my dad so at least he will get the experience of opening it up...and then in a next couple days, he will have a new home brew ready to go!

Not a problem at all. Point of this post was mainly to demonstrate to users that you should contact customer service first, before getting upset on a forum for no good reason, because AutoGeek will take care of you!

Yep, it was no biggie. These things happen.

My dad is going to love it. He is a chemist by trade. For the past 4 years, I got him deep into homebrewing beer and since we already have him a nice setup, I decided it was time for a different type of home brew.
