Thank you for the heads up.... This could have been the vette.

Hilton only had valet parking.

Sizzle warned me that quite a few people complained about damage to their vehicles. So took the Tahoe instead of vette luckily.

Is the Hilton paying for the repair? You'd think they would investigate after a few complaints.

Saw it when leaving. Didn't say anything. Prove they did it........

I'd leave a Yelp review specifically calling that out. Lots of people read those these days.

I cannot even fathom having that happen to any of my vehicles without leaving someone in a swamp. At night. Silently...........

Sorry to see this Ron, but I am really glad it's not the vette! Well...maybe it would've been better: white would've hidden it more...and it's plastic!!!

Terrible. Terrible.

I can understand your frustrations, and I'm glad it wasn't the Vette, too. But man, I'm fuming because it's bring back two bad memories of people hitting my S and not leaving a note or taking responsibility.

Valet Parking:
Hate it!

It's one of those "services" that
can turn around and ruin a large
investment in a matter of just a
few seconds.

Good Luck on the repairs Ron.

They should maybe call it "Valley" parking. You have a few new valleys in your vehicle after they parked it. Sorry to see that.

Sorry bout the dent but that is a heck of a reflection!

That sucks! I feel your pain! The people where I work dont give a #### about anyones car. Mine waves at you when you look down the side of it. Seems to be an all too common trend now days :(

Had a similar experience.

Went to a real fancy restaurant with Velocity and Bob McKee. Can't remember the name of the place but can find out. No place to park but they offered valet parking, so I tipped the guy $20.00 bucks up front and asked him to park our Mercedes-Benz SL 500 carefully as I'm very cautious about door dings.

To my dismay, the next day I found a paint chip in the driver's door.

Told Stacy we would NEVER valet park her car again. In fact, if we have to attend a function where our only option is valet parking we will rent a car and let the rental car take the abuse.

Case in point, this last weekend for Detail Fest instead of driving my truck or her MB we rented a Ford Edge. Cost us $84.00 and ZERO risk of door dings, scrapes, getting keyed, flat tires, fender benders during the drive to and from the company event.

The peace of mind and assurance of zero problems was more than worth the $84.00 I did the same thing for Mobile Tech Expo and after driving the horrific roads under construction to Orlando for that event again the cost of the rental car for the weekend was nothing compared to the potential damage that could have happened to, at or driving home from this event. My buddy Bob Phillips from P&S Sales had his rental car stolen from the parking lot at the MTE hotel. (Double Tree).

Remember this and think about taking up this option next time you're in this position.
