Hi Folks

Wanna say a big thank you for your guidence and help process my return order :(

I was sooooooooo... looking forward for my FALL20 orders ,until my shipping agent gives the "red light" .. claiming that the wax are flammable - they refuse to ship and wanted me to arrange for disposal.

Being in Asia : - I am helpless , lost and disappointed .. (the wax has cost me more then 100 dollars.. money aside.. I really wish to have the products). It almost kill all my interest and enthusiasm in shopping and shipping internationally for car care product.

All thanks to Nicole and Team who gave me vauable suggestion sand helping to arrange a return . Now my orders are heading back to AG :( sob sob... Though i will be charge for shipping fee. I think the sum is fair.. let it be a lesson learnt. I shall arrange internatinal ship with AG directly.

I cant write good english : - but I wanna say a big THANK YOU to AG!. This is NOT going to stop me from ordering with AG! I have faith in AG customer service and their professionalism!

You Guys Rock!!!

I will reload my AG cart once I got the return and refund done. Or until the next 20% promotion. Watch out for my order....:props:

Thanks
Terence

If I spoke Asain, maybe I'd just order the stuff for the OP and ship it to him myself- it's always easier to ship personally than as a business... But I am wondering, who is the "shipping agent" and why do you have to dispose of auto wax?

OP?
The Shipping agent : - provide the shipping services and a US address for us to buy internationally.

I have been using the same agent for my list 3 purchase with AG. This time round.. they claim it is flammable and refuse to ship. Either arrange for a return or disposal.
:(

How I hope the next 20% promo will be around the corner :(

Have you tried shipping it via sea freight? It works for us in the Philippines.

Man, that sucks - I can definitely commiserate, since I'm in the same boat - I need to get everything shipped out to the Philippines (when I don't have relatives coming over). Just out of curiosity, was you shipping agent going to send via air or via sea? In our local detailing forum, we all use shipping agents who send via sea, and I've not (yet) heard of issues with them refusing products for shipping. Agree though, that in your case, it might be best to have AG arrange the shipping themselves, to ensure that you won't encounter similar issues in the future.

Brawl and Umi000,

Thanks for the quick suggestion : - however I do not know of any agent providing sea freight? Does your agent provide US address also?
Is it cheaper? What is the avg lead time to PHI? The air freight cost was high.. but I am too obsessed with the product AG has... :(

The agent I have ship via air... my last 3 shipments with AG went fine.. some of my past orders include FK425 ; Klasse AIO ; Klasse SG.. all goes well until now. I guess UPS international shipping rate gonna be high.. need to look for alternative.

All I hope now is my orders go back to AG without any issue and I can get my refund. Belwo I load the order again...

Let us know when you are ready to place your order again and we will honor the same 20% off promotion.

@terentius, shipping via sea requires patience. we had to wait for 4-6 weeks. LOL It is definitely cheaper and the basis of the shipping fees is the dimension of the box and not weight. So you put as much as you want as long as it will fit in the box. The only advantage of shipping via sea is that products are not subjected to drastic change in pressure because they literally remain at sea level.hehe

We usually ask our relatives and friends in the US to ship it to us. Those who will come home or visit the country also bring some products with them. We also have an online shipping company where you will ship the items to their warehouse in the US and they will ship it via sea to the Philippines. The highest they charge is $75 for a 26" x 22" x 17", which is a BIG box, while the lowest is $30 for a box with less than 43" dimension. I hope you can find a shipping company that will suit your needs. Good Luck!

How do you usually arrange with them/AG so us to maximise the "space" in your carton? Full loaded box?

Hmmmm, are you based in Singapore? I've shipped AG products countless times to Singapore (including waxes and sealants) by Borderlinx (Borderlinx - create your own US and UK address and shop online!) and never had any issues with being denied air shipment.

Yes I am in SG...

I had an account with them too. However after my shipment is rejected by VP - they instructed me to have OCW/845 and Polycharger removed - return order dispose.

I wrote to Borderlinx itoo. infact I requested to divert to Borderlinx. However they "Strongly" adviced do not ship as WAX are flammable. I left with no choice but arranged for an return. Thank God .. AG CS staff had help to arrange to return.

Care to PM me the type of product you have shipped with borderlinx? any tips in shipping.

I have 3 earlier shipment via VP - which contains KAIO KSG FK425.. all are fine until this time.

Thanks

We don't have an active 20% off code at the moment, but put a note in the comments box when the order is placed "20% off per Matt". Keep in mind that the normal coupon restrictions apply. :)

Borderlinx does ship waxes (at least they did for me); and vPost is a waste of your money and time. Almost anything that can be shipped by air in the continental US can be shipped by Borderlinx back to Singapore.
