Meghan: Thank you very much for the Diamondite product samples. I finally got a chance to record the Glass Resurfacing Creme on some very pitted headlight covers on a BMW X5.

I sanded them with 2000 grit wet sanding first, then used the Glass Resurfacing Creme on an orange pad with a rotary at 1000 rpm.

Sanded:

After Diamondite. The product worked far quicker than compounding.

I'll be posting pics of the entire vehicle in the next few days.

Thank you again for the samples...FANTASTIC!

Very nice work Toto. A thanks so much for the review. Looks great.

World of difference! Thanks for the review.

I did a review on the Diamondite Glass Cleaning system as well. Its a great product. One of the few products that I have tried that left my glass and headlight lenses looking like new.

Its good stuff.

Master Toto, I refuse to use your pics as product recomendations any more... you make every product look like the best on the market, seriously, if anyone could make paint shine with a brilo pad it's you! Thanks for sharing I always look forward to seeing your posts.

is the glass creme better/faster on headlights than the plastic polishes diamondite offers?

Why is this better then finishing them with regular polish such as Menzerna?

Good question! Actually, Menzerna, 3M compound, Meguiar's, Optimum, etc. will ALL work on headlight refinishing. But, the Diamondite works very quickly and finishes out in 1 application. As I indicated, this was a sample and I wanted to try it on a set of rough lenses. It really reduced my work time on the lenses to a couple of minutes start-to-finish.
