Who contribute here at AGO. I hope I speak for all of us beginners when I say that the suggestions, opinions, and professional experiences of you guys and gals here are very much appreciated. I can only imagine how many times a topic is brought up; instead of snyde remarks about the "search feature" you continue to answer those questions time and time again. Sure the search feature is an important tool, but sometimes without just the right word or phrase the search results may not provide the desired results. You all are very patient and supportive of those of us who are just beginning to delve into the world of detailing. It can be (and still is for me) a very daunting task finding the appropriate products, tools and techniques. But with your help, I've been able to break things down to simpler processes. Just wanted to say THANKS!
 
I must agree with you.

There is certain 'niceness' here that IS hard to find on many forums...as Martha would say, "That's a good thing."

I'll add my inflation adjusted 2 cents too...

I frequent many forums...have for many years now, and AGO stands out in that people are generally helpful, respectful and kind.

It's a refreshing change from forums that seem to breed meanness and insensitivity.

Thank you for starting this thread, and thank you all for being good citizens.

:iagree: What I like in these threads is that a few times many AGO members may disagree or become devil's advocate. That is understandable. However, there is 1 thing that I have noticed since being on this site....REGARDLESS is anyone here on AGO may disagree; what stands out that most of us (or all of AGO people on this forum) give common COURTESY and RESPECT to everyone!!
 
Something else that just struck me to buttress this point...

I just read through eaglefan's "new toy" post and actually felt good to be excited for him with his new acquisition...a new Harley. I felt a genuine excitement for another member's joy at getting something he's wanted for a long time. A total stranger except for the fact he is here and is one of "us" mentally diseased with detailing. The genuine nature of someone sharing that wonderful life experience with us and our feeling appreciation for it feels good.

I, too, frequent other forums...some detailing, some not...and this place is "home" to me for all the reasons here mentioned.
 
Same here. Especially when going through some of life's more "trying" times, here I am, on my phone AG'ing.

Great people, great info.
