Bought the Vette in April 2010 (3 miles), for the past 6 months having been reading the forum taking a class at Autogeek and just learning all I can about the car and taking care of the car. WOW, but after all of this time, I got the vette to this point (1,100 miles), see pics, and loving life. Special thanks to everyone at Autogeek, specially Mike Phillips, his class was great. Take a look and let me know what you think!!!!! The car has Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant and Optimum Spray Wax, wheels have DP Wheel Glaze. All done by hand, thinking of a polisher but have not ventured there yet. :dblthumb2:

Great looking car!!!

Sorry, new to putting pics on the forum, thanks and enjoy, I know I am! Seems it will only put the thumbnail pic in the message, guess yopu will have to click on each one to see it larger. They files are huge, hade to reduce them to get them to accept them on the forum.

As you know the next step is the polisher, and I suspect you are ready. Car looks great indeed !

Your car is beautiful, but you already know that! :xyxthumbs: Picture #4 needs to be added to Autogeek's Wolfgang section online, that is a great shot!

No worries! :props:

I use Photobucket to upload forum pics. Once saved/uploaded to Photobucket (or any other like Image Shack, Picasa etc ...) choose the IMG link of the pic and paste the link into your thread post. Preview your post to make sure the pic shows and then finalize the post ........ done.

Same can be done with videos.

Love that red. Similar to my 2003 Mustang Cobra Redfire. That car of yours is sharp!

Mike suggests to post your pics to your gallery on here so that the photos will not be deleted. He says that sometimes people will delete their Photobucket and then there are red x's all over the forums.

Mine won't be deleted so no worries on my end ............ :props:

Other Crystal Red Grand Sports - what do you use

Very interesdted to hear from others with the same paint to see what they are using and to see thier results if poosible, please let mek now, love experimenting with this, yes I am new and way to deep in this (just ask the wife!)

Re: Other Crystal Red Grand Sports - what do you use

Grand Sport? Why did Chevy leave off the hash marks? The hash marks were specific to the '96 GS. I think the new ones should have kept them.

Beautiful car, regardless.

Colin

Hash marks is another topic, corvette forum has long drawn out discussions on this topic. I am still very interested to hear from anyone with the CRM paint and what they use, thanks Scott
