I used to eat death hot things without even blinking when I was younger.

Today, they (ahem) bother me a little more then back then.......

But I still find myself trying them on occasion, then saying "Never again".

Until someone like Mike would offer me a Scotch Bonnet.......... Lol

I like spicy hot food, smaller peppers are usually hotter.

has anyone tried this one chip challenge yet? i hear it's no joke. btw, i don't do well with hot food... :(

Crazy . . . . Just plain crazy!!! :urtheman:

I still ill remember my eyes watering sitting across the table from you as you tipped some nuclear powered hot sauce on some pizza bread at the Marriott . . . Then it almost killed Mike Crain as he gasped for breath after ‘trying’ some!! Credit to him though, I don’t recall anyone else stepping up to the challenge. :props:

Haven’t been able to find scotch bonnets up in WA. Love some habaneros to add heat. Hear scotch bonnets are very similar. Will have to try picking some. Mike what do use them for after puckling?

Caribbean red peppers as we call them. Distant Cousin of the habernaro. Can he super hot. Delicious or deadly depending on your taste. I like them in jerk chicken!!

O naw lol. I'll pass. I haven't hit that hot peppers stage of life lol.

•I haven’t tried any Carolina Reapers yet.
-I’m quite leery of a pepper that’s
the brainchild(?) of the owner of:

The PuckerButt Pepper Co.

I had a neighbor who had a collection of super hot sauces...ya know, little tiny bottles with weird labels and wildly scary graphics.

One night sitting around drinking I asked him about them. At the time I prided myself on eating "nuclear" chix wings and hot foods in general. I asked what his hottest was in the collection. After his explanation complete with its placement on the Scoville scale he talked me into trying a toothpick tipped tiny drop. Never, ever again!

Needless to say it illicited 30 mins of laughter from the group. My eyes still water just typing this out.

I used to be a collector of hot sauces too. I still have about 40 bottles of different stuff in the garage refrigerator. The hottest one that I have is called 'Endorphin Rush'. I have seen at least a dozen people get diaphragm spasms after trying it.

I still stomach the hot sauces, but strangely enough I can't handle ketchup anymore. Instant reflux.

I heard that stuff will take any road tar off your vehicle, ha! No way for this camper

Haven't tried it but I don't go for the crazy hot like Carolina Reapers. Just Habaneros and Scotch Bonnets - they have a great flavor.

I remember that too - that was probably Widow - one of my favorite and very very hot. I turned one of the warehouse guys onto it and he loves it.

Mike what do use them for after pickling?

I eat them on everything, eggs for breakfast, anything for lunch, sandwiches etc. and in salads.

Here's breakfast this morning...

Yeah Endorphin Rush is hot. Too hot for most people.

I took a bottle of that when I taught a class down in Argentina.

That was a great class, we had a 1965 Mustang everyone was able to learn wet sanding on - pretty cool. Plus all the other topics I teach in my classes. But to wet sand a Mustang in Argentina? Who else has this in a class?

Autogeek's Detailing Class in South America!
