The beauty of black paint SL55 and Opti Coat

Nice recovery on that. Is the owner a frequent user of drive-thru car washes? Hard to imagine that much density of longer scratches by hand washing.

I'm curious if you will advise the owner that they probably cannot have this done again? What were the thickness readings before you started?
 
The car was just bought. he is a returning client, 3 years ago he bought an identical car also in black. I did a correction job on it but he had a limited amount to spend. I did more than what he paid for, and was very happy with the outcome. Shortly after. someone ran into him and the car was totaled. At least that car had more paint.

In any case you are right, you can tell if a car frequents tunnel washes by the build up around emblems.

With each pass I was removing 5-7 microns and needed at least 2 passes. That is just the cutting phase. 3 more steps are performed afterwards. :D

This paint is terrible with RIDS everywhere.
 
Finally I have the back of the car (rear bumper) and front bumper left.
 
Amazing turnout! It's giving a great, mirror like shine.
By the way, did you opti coat it ?
