I'm shopping around for a solid and dependable All-In-One product to add to my arsenal. I'm literally hovering my mouse over the final checkout for Chemical Guys Black Light Hybrid Sealant and their V07 spray they say compliments it very well. Then I chickened out and thought "Why not ask around? Maybe there's something better suited for me."

I'm a versatile professional detailer. I own both Makita 9227c and Flex 3401 machines with nearly the full line of LC VC pads for the rotary and LC CCS pads for the orbital. I'm comfortable with using pretty much any kind of product and have no problems learning new methods and I catch on quickly.

All-in-one products aren't anything I've been truly interested in until recently. I read a review about Black Light and got the itch but don't want to buy based on hype alone. I understand Black Light may be a great product, but does it really fit into the AIO category?

So, fellow nerds, what experiences do you have with All-In-One products and if you were banished to a tropical island full of all sorts of vehicles you were in charge of detailing, and could only pick ONE AIO, which would you pick and why? Also what application method did you prefer with said product?
 
Poorboys Polish with Sealant. Going to test out a forum favorite D151.
 
D151 is great but durability is not so great....I have a hard time selling it bc it doesn't last long.
 
Polish with sealant is my main product I use. D151 if they want to pay for correction.

Agree with its durability. It did a great job with correction and shine, but after 3 weeks with d151 and NXT 2.0, seemed like it was completely gone. However, i didn't mind because i wanted to try out some new LSP that I had. For the price and correction ability, d151 was a good buy.
 
Out looms friends on what your looking for in your aio. If I have a car that needs t to be polished to bring back shine out get rod of a good chunk of swirls,I use d151 on a yellow buff and shine with my rotary. If the paintdidn't a lot of correct but needed polishing I would use poly seal. Poly is nice cause it shines up and offers great protection.

after I do 151, I'll usually top it with some optimum cat wax.super easy to do. I love gore much correction you can get with d151.

I personally done see black light as an aio, didn't really correct but its great to use as a paint cleaner
 
cat wax? try the new cat coating by friskies:buffing:
 
I combine D151 and DG 501 on a MF cutting disc or finishing disc (2 dimes size dots each), this solves the durability problem of D151 and saves time.
 
BL is a great product but your question is too generic. All AIOs are not going to give you the same result. Some cut more than others. Some finish better. Still yet some have better protection or clean better than others. What are your priorities?

I would be layering if necessary, but I'm looking for something that delivers a reduction in swirls and surface defects, that adds depth, reflection and protects without leaving any traces of machine application.

I have had great luck with PB PWS. I have only really used it as a sealant never really worked it into the paint like a polish.
 
klasse AIO or the Jeffs Werkstat Prime version are both good and accomplish what your after.

Interesting... but wouldn't you have to do an IPA wipedown to get rid of the wax D151 leaves in order for UPGP to bond properly?
 
I just used D151 PRC for the first time the other day. I can't speak for durability but it gives a decent amount of correction for light swirls, water spots, and paint scuffs. I was just using it with a white CCS pad.

I wonder what would happen if you added a drop of 845 on the same pad..........?
