Okay all,

I finally tackled a 24' Baja with the Hydro Tech pads, Meg's Oxidation Remover and the PC DA. I was concerned I wouldn't have enough power with the DA and that I should be getting a rotary....I'm thinking it would have sped things up a little...not sure. I think you could get the same or better results faster just due to the rotary's power.

It wasn't terrible...inside was a bit dirty as was the engine bay. It needed a good polish.
Here's the pics....

A rotary would speed the process up quite a bit. It would let you tackle boats that are more oxidized than that too. The boat looks really good. It cleaned up nicely.
For boats in that condition with your DA try the new lakecountry thin foam wool pads:
5 1/2 Inch Thin Foamed Wool Pad (2-Pack)
Gelcoat really likes wool. It's much easier to clean them as you go too. The foam wool finishes out awesome. I'm using them tomorrow, I'll post up some pictures.

Thanks! I'd love to try that...and can't wait for pics!

We just did a 24' Baja here at Autogeek about a month ago, came out nice, seems to be a well made boat.

Here's what a picture looks like inserted, I placed this in your free gallery here on AGO...
