The Boss is Here - Menzerna FG-400 Has Arrived!

Used FG 400 today on a 1957 Chevy with a basecoat/clearcoat finish. Used a white hybrid pad on the Flex 3401 followed by Gtechnic EXO. FG 400 cut fast and finished out like a polish.

ZERO dusting. SUPER EASY WIPE-OFF.

I'll do a write-up on Monday...

Impressed.

I can hardly wait! :)

Does anyone else think that this smells like PB blaster?

With the number chart on the website for Menz polishes...what number cut and gloss would it get?

Although the Meg's and Optimum SMAT polishes get a lot of kudos, and rightly so...I personally like working with DAT products especially Menz, Duragloss, Pinnacle and Wolfgang. Simply because they produce consistently good results and part of that consistency is because they tell me when I've polished enough. There is really not much guessing with DAT polishes. Life is complicated enough and I find myself preferring products that simplify my life, whether its polish or my car sending me an email when it's time to inflate the tire pressure.

Looking forward to that write-up! :xyxthumbs:

Here you go...

I smell a refined solvent smell. It's U.S. V.O.C. compliant which I think that makes it world wide compliant as the U.S. has some of, if not the tightest V.O.C. restrictions in the world.

I agree with you on this... SMAT is new and works well for some applications but to date, I haven't found a polish that finishes down better and more consistently on BLACK paint than DAT products after inspecting via chemical stripping.

I agree...

That's funny... I'd like to get my old truck to do this for me...
