Also just to comment....
As I've posted multiple times in the past, in my opinion, the Brinkmann is the best swirl finder light on the market. Sure it's made in China and the factory rechargeable battery is probably not the best battery brand or option on the market but the key feature is the way it lights up the paint to reveal swirls and scratches in a
PRACTICAL manner.
Some guys like lights that are as bright as the sun. The issue with this is you can never please them. If your work pleases the Brinkmann it's good enough for 99.9% of the world.
The other thing is the light from the Xenon bulb works best, again in my opinion for those of us that use
video and photography to capture before and after shots. That includes me.
Other lights might be brighter and you can rattle off all the benefits and features you like about them but when I need to show before and after using my camera or when working with Yancy or a TV production team, the Brinkmann works better than any other light I've ever used.
So if you have one of the THOUSANDS of Brinkmann Swirl Finder Lights
Autogeek sold for the last 5 years then instead of throwing it out or whining about it on some forum somewhere.... read Zach's article on how to replace the battery and then TREASURE it.
