From time to time I have to go places to either removes defects from vehicles and wanted to get your opinions on the Detailing Bag that AG sells. Is it worth 50 bucks???? Suggest any other bags made for detailing?

besides brushes, some cleaners and a bag of MF towels, this bag fits everything else. all your exterior need such as your polsiher (assuming you have a PCXP) polishes wax/sealent wheel cleaner, tire gel, car wash (if you have a smaller amount not anything about 32 oz) and a couple other things. I love the bottom storage compartment which i use for my pads. overall is it worth 50$? mehh maybe but it is a really good bag.

I love my bag! It works great for doing just what the poster above stated! $50.00? sure it is!

Hmmmm.... I've been itching to buy one since I started detailing 3 years ago. Now I have tons of goodies and no bag to carry my important things in.....I may just order it.... more suggestions on the DETAIL BAG from AG?

Its a cool little bag but it doesn't hold that much. I pretty much just use it to store my PC in. The only reason I got mine was it was part of a pinnacle kit I picked up for dirt cheap.

I have one and I really like it. Like others have said it's great for holding small items. It doesn't hold a ton but it's great if your limited for space in your ride. That being said I won mine so didn't have to pay.

I bought mine a few months ago and love it. I store my GG DA, 2 backing plates, 3 5.5" pads, 3 3" pads, Alum polish, steel wool, DP Clay, and 6-7 16 oz bottles. I wish I could've got it on the 1st Father's Day sale with the Souveran Paste Wax.

Hmmm.....was that yesterdays special Dwayne? They were giving one away for free if you purchased some pinnacle wax kit. I Just don't think it is worth 50 bucks for such a small bag, but maybe someone can take pictures of there and show me what it can hold and what not?

No I picked it up last year with this kit Pinnacle Complete Detailing Bag Kit. I'm thinking I only paid around $120 for it on sale.

Nice Bag. The one I've got that looks like that one has Griot's on it. Came as a "free" bonus with my "unfree" order. Very decently priced bag, at that price. :)

My go to detail bag is the $20.00 Stanley Works' FatMax. Another decently priced bag, and the wife says it fits me to a "T"..........Bob

I am a mobile car detailer and I bought two bags from harbor freight. A 20" roll away bag and a 19" bag, think i spent 35 dollars onboth. the 20" i use for products i use most of the time and brushes. APC, IPA, wax, clay bar, various brushes, ONR in a small bottle, rain x, ect. The 19" bag has all of my DA stuff. my Griot grage DA, DA carpet brush, backing plate, wrench, a dozen pads, compound and polish.

I tend to take the 20" bag to most jobs and the 19" bag wheni know I wil do some correction or maybe for waxing. I like the DA to wax with.

problem with bags is that I need a platform to work on. A small table with wheels, but then those waiter carts are hard to put into a car. A table wonderful useful, just not often mobile enough. Maybe a hard plastic rolling toolbox. some are 3 feet tall with wheel, but expensive. These bags aren't perfect, but I love the deep pockets and it helps keep me organized and i can set up and clean up faster.

Alright, that's not bad at all!! Thanks for the pictures!! I think I will buy one soon.

If your doing any mobile business they are great...put your pads in the bottom, polishes/compounds on the sides and buffer in the middle..they also have spaces on the ends that hold other size backing plates or back ups..the only down side to those detailer bags are they wont hold a flex da very well.

I have the Griot's version of the bag. I went with theirs because the handle has a bend in it (opposed to being a straight handle) which allows for more room to access things in the bag. Other than that, it's really the same bag.

I see that you use a lot of Griot's products. May I ask what pads do you use with the Griot's line. I have their line, but they only offer orange polishing pads and red wax pads.

Actually, up to this point, I've only used their orange and red 6" pads. I do have a rotary that I use from time to time with some 3M foam pads I bought many years ago. The next time I buy pads I will probably go with the LC flat 5.5 pads and back plate to see how they are to work with.

I also have the Griot's 3" DA. It doesn't have near the power of the 6" DA but it had come in handy a few times.

i wish mine came with the bent handle. idk why they made the AG ones like that but its annoying getting my DA in there with the BP still on. maybe my next one will be the griots one =D

This is the first look at the Autogeek Detailer's Bag, detailing bag, detailing supplies bag, storage bag, tool box, buffer bag, car care organizer, buffing pads organizer

I bought this bag a few weeks back on VIP special and I wanted to post an initial impression review, then follow up when I have more experience with the product.

Details:
1.- Packaging: None - There are yellow versions with Pinnacle / Wolfgang branding

2.- Size: 17”L x 9” W x 13” H
3.- Price at time of Review: $49.99
4.- Manufacturer: Unknown (sold by Autogeek)
5.- Made in:

Additional products used for prep, during application, or removal:
1.Various products / bottles from my supply stash

Initial Observations:
When you first pick this bag up, the heavy duty metal rod / handle catches you a bit off guard. It gives the entire construction a very rigid and durable feel, that makes you think even with 50lbs of product/accessories this bag is going to hold together without any issues. The nylon is good quality and thick, and it is obvious a lot of though has gone into this bag - the top flap can open from either direction (Velcro on either side) and there are nooks, pockets and straps for just about everything. It is going to take some experimentation to see which configuration works best for me.

Pictures:
I selected a random assortment of products and accessories to get a feel for the bag and fill it up for pictures.

Virtually every square inch of this bag has been utilized to carry something which maximizes the amount of stuff you can transport in a single bag.

Velcro access to the very sturdy cushioned grip that goes the entire length of the bag:

Velcro top opened from the other side of the bag:

A polisher easily fits inside with a lot of extra room for other stuff:

The bottom holds 5 mixed size pads pretty easily. There is some Velcro on the divider I need to take another look at to see if it will allow more room in the pad compartment.

Conclusions
I think this is going to be a very nice and durable bag capable of holding a lot of detailing tools and products in a efficient and organized manner. I am planning on moving a lot of my interior tools and brushes to this bag so they are easy to find and not left behind when I do a mobile detail.

Followups will be posted as I gain more experience / familiarity with the bag.
