The detailing crimes you've committed!!!

Using "Future" acrylic floor shine on tires.

Using olive oil on flat black stripes.

Spraying used motor oil on the undercarriage and wheel wells for that deep dark shine.

A little shot of kerosene in the wash water (to make the water bead)

Wow:wow:

Using a California Duster and believing the hype !

The dirtier it is : the better it works !

Wow ,mine should work real good, cause it is nice and dirty

Hmmm...I always had older neglected rides till recently. So my biggest sin would be not caring enough about em to wash them, ever. lol. I kinda dont feel so bad anymore. Thanx for the thread! ;-)

Is it a crime to make some 28 year old single stage black paint look great using an entire bottle of Megs #7 then photographing at dusk for a "for sale" ad? Thing sold in a week for way above market value.

Only of you're a dealer... :props:

top no no's from back the the days........

-using dish washing soap
-using a broom to clean the car
-dissolving brown sugar with water to use as tire shine.....doesn't last long and attracts some unwanted guests!
-thinking "the more, the better" when it came to applying wax

Hmm....

-using a wheel well brush for the entire car
-not using soap
-using one of those synthetic absorbers, even when dirty
-using klasse aio like a wax (well, not knowing the difference between a polish and wax as well)
