The End of My Leave

For the last 7 months I have been on a Parental leave from work (6 mo's parental + 1 month vacation) staying home with our new daughter. That time has ended and I'm back to regular full time duties tomorrow. Even got a new posting to report to. Anyway, I won't have nearly the amount of time to lurk on AG like I used to during the days. I'm really gonna miss that.:( Our server won't allow access to AGOL at work so I can't look at it there either. I will still be doing my weekend jobs and posting pics.

Take care and stay safe. I am lucky I can lurk at work. I hate the way that stuff feels after you havent worn it for a while.

Ive had two tremendously hard days at work over the years, and both were the 1st day back after the birth of each son. It gets better, and nothing like them waiting at the door to greet daddy and mommy still gets a little mad when they wake up early to kiss daddy goodbye for work.
 
so true!! scott i just came back from my wifes bosses house were she baby sitts for a 7 year old . anyway i went inside to surprise my daughter and as soon as she saw me she came running!!! and screaming and smiling. she was so happy . its amazing to see that!!! and theres nothing thats better then that!!!!
 
Man richy your a strong man to resist those cute girls asking you where your going and why you aren't around during the day. But it's also good to see you teaching them how to work hard and to keep your word. Well that's just me though but I hope things work out for you my friend, besides it gives you two things to look forward to the end of the day your two lovely kids and AG :righton:
 
Great Girls Richy! I've got 4 daughters scattered around the country (oldest retired from the U.S. Marines) and the youngest is my bungee cord daughter....she keeps coming back home to harrass me! j/k...love 'em all.

Man, what beautiful girls! You my man, are going to go through withdrawal syndrome having to leave those little ladies. Good luck...
 
Congrats with your daughter! She's cute :D. I bet it's hard to have to be going back to work and not having to spend all day and all night with your family.
 
Thanks so much for all the well wishers!! The first day went o.k. but the new posting is a complete bore compared to my old job..nothing beats getting paid to ride!! But my new schedule is necessary for the family life..so it is what it is. The kids grow up so damned fast that I'm really glad I took the once in a lifetime opportunity to be with them for the time I did. My youngest did fine in her 1st day of daycare..we were more anxious than her.
 
Richy I missed this one, those girls are such cuties! I am sure it broke you heart to leave them on the 1st day! Good luck!
