Merlin, I see you have a "draft stop" where your slab meets the outside world. I am considering having my floor repoured, and I'm getting conflicting advice about how to do the threshold, whether it should be flush with the driveway, have the draft stop, or have a beveled or tapered transition.

Thoughts, anyone?
 
Any colors that will hide the dirt and also poor a mud job on the drywall joints. Previous owners already had ceiling and walls muded and textured so I went and painted white but it shows all there mistakes

In my case I can now pull my truck into the garage. I was trying to figure out a way to tell distance. I found out that the truck tires bump right up to the stop.

I have 4" clearance in the front. When the garage door comes down I have 3" in the back. It worked out perfect for me. I really didn't want a tennis ball hanging from the ceiling.

I used a 2"x2" piece of 1/8" aluminum on the lip to protect the edge. See Picture
