I will say that starting off with interiors is probably a strength for you; leverage that. Another strength is that you made a tough decision; to back away while until you get the necessary resources. I recall about ten years ago on a documentary I was watching something that has stayed with me. A movie director is not worth his/her salt until they have the intestinal fortitude to delete their favorite scene in a movie. The point was it is all about what the movie-goer wants, needs or expects to see; and if a director cannot do that 100% of the time, in every scene, then something is missing.

Checkout local car show events. Arrive ready to work. Maybe offer a waterless wash and wax for a "special" price. If you can do this at the shows, eventually you'll get your name out there and get more business.

If that sounds like a little too much, maybe offer to detail a specific part of the car, like a noticeable scratch or poorly detailed area. Eventually someone will give you a try and that may get you name out there too.

Yet another car show deal... If you have a friend with a car show worthy car, set them up to accept a detail at the car show with you to show off you skills in front of the peeps at the show. A demo so to speak.

Stay in faith, I started my business with $100. A piece of advice, look at the waterless products, Harbor Freight and Home Depot. Harbor Freight, has many detailing products to get you started. Home Depot have many shop vacs. My waterless carwash and detail took two years to get where I am now. Talk to everyone you can, I have a quota of meeting atleast 100 new people a week. Trust me keep going, don't give up!!
