The Last Detail - BMW e90 335i Paint Correction

That's a damn good looking 335, you're consistently turning out excellent work!

Nice work!

I did the same car last week, but it was a 325i.

Yours turned out a bit better though. Mine was Opti-Coated so it did not have the same gloss.

What was your compound of choice? I used FG400 with the Blue Hybrid pads, but they left some very faint trails that required me to do a 2nd step.

Thank you sir!!:xyxthumbs:. I have had some practice with BMW paint so I have been able to get some pretty decent results lately.

Thank you sir. I started out with Wolfgang Ultimate Compound 3.0. The finish was excellent gloss wise but I wasn't able to remove the deeper scratches so I ended up using HD cut to remove the deeper scratches ( like on the trunk for example). This was giving me a damn near lsp ready finish. I did notice a light case of marring after the GRIOTS Garage pre wax cleanser but I couldn't tell if it was from the cleanser or from compounding. I used a Cobra super plush 600 g/m towel so I should not have scratched the finish. DG 601 then 105 on a polishing pad quickly cleared that up though.

I have a Flex now so I plan on seeing if I can dig deeper with the WGUCC.

DG 105 and Petes 53 is a killer combo though!!
