New friend, fellow detailer and brother in Christ, Flavio of "New Look Auto Detailing" sent me this. Awesome analogy. I love it! -
Master Detailer
What does it take to be a Master Detailer? Experience, skill of using the proper tools and techniques, knowledge of various paints and paint imperfections, wisdom in using the proper chemicals, special training.... the list can go on and on. I believe a master detailer is one who has a proven track record of being able to transform any vehicle regardless of how bad or how long it has been neglected. Do you know of a Master Detailer that is able to achieve what was just
described? Now that you thought of a Master Detailer, the question must be asked; do you know The Master Detailer?
A Master Detailer is one of a few who have truly learned the art of detailing and continue to refine and improve the process before others. The Master Detailer is the ONE who already mastered the process to its perfection. Before a detail process begins, the Master Detailer must inspect the vehicle - Psalm 26:2 & Psalm 139:23. After the Master Detailer inspects the vehicle, He must have a plan to achieve His desired outcome - Jeremiah 29:11. When the Master Detailer has completed the detailing process he hears the following; "Well Done!!!" Matthew 25:21.
Have you ever thought of God being The Master Detailer and we the vehicle? Many of the vehicles we detail are full of trash inside and the paint is contaminated, so our bodies have been neglected and uncared for. We need The Master Detailer!
Can you remember the experience of when you met The Master Detailer? How did it feel to get all the contamination of this world washed off, cleansed deep on the inside, your mind (engine) renewed, your eyes opened (headlights restored) and finally able to see clear? I bet it was a glorious day. The people who knew you, now see a different person, a transformed/ restored person. They start to realize a certain glow, and shine about you. They see the difference The Master Detailer has made and now they desire it as well.
As we all know, a full detail is not enough to preserve the "Superior Shine" and the "Wow-it looks brand new" look. To preserve the hard work that was performed during the full detail, the vehicle has to be washed and waxed (including clay bar) on a constant basis. Have you been keeping up on your spiritual detail through prayer and reading God's word? Will you refer others to The Master Detailer? Flavio
