Hello forum users!
What in your opinion is the most important, or the most iconic Mercedes model? Perhaps there is more of them? I'm a programmer game and was thrown into the game the opportunity to commune with models of Mercedes, but we depend mainly on those "most important."

The only 1 that comes to mind is the 1976 500sl. And it's famous for having safe crumple zone and being safe to crash in, despite being a 2 seat coupe. I could be off a bit on the year.

It's a bit surprising that nothing really comes to mind. You'd think there'd be dozens of iconic/classic examples for Mercedes being such a supreme quality automobile. Is Mercedes overrated?

Mike`s choice is my favorite:dblthumb2:

When I think of Mercedes this model 770 comes to mind.

One of Hitler`s favorites.

If someone has a basic version of the Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 I dealt to you the keys to the Mercedes DLC.
Inquiries to the mail; [email protected]
Just write KEY MERCEDES DLC

Greetings and thanks!

I've seen a few videos of that game, pretty impressive how far you guys have come since it was first released.

I see you're going with the sl, but I'm surprised no one mentioned the 190e cosworth evo2. In terms of iconic benz products, that one is definitely high on the list.

Don't know what the most important Mercedes model is but just wanna give you a quick congrats for working on Car Mechanic Simulator. Played quite a few hours of that game and really enjoyed it.

Yup, 300SL for sure. Other iconic examples are the 300SLR, CLK-GTR (personal favorite), and the 190E Cosworths.

The "problem" (air quotes) about what makes something "iconic" (air quotes, again) is that iconic means, well at least to me, is something that is well-established, well-respected and timeless. MB built so many cool works-of-art kinda cars but the average person never really saw them or recognise them because not many units were built. The 540k and especially the SSK Count Trossi cars come to mind. Along with the 190e and AMGs. Only about 1,400 gullwings were made in the 50's but it seems like much more since they show up in movies and ads to this day. (Fredo drove a '55 300SL coupe in the Godfather movie.) Alas, I'm splitting hairs here, all of the MBs mentioned in this post are worthy of a standing ovation.

And what do you think about that in the future enter the DLC allows "to pull the car out of the shed?" Something on the principle that as a player you are somewhere in the old barn, it is theoretically eg Beetle - haggle with some owner, you are buying the old Beetle from a haystack, you turn up and it turns out that include 911? Would you like to try something like this play?

Sounds like an interesting idea. Makes me think of the "barn finds" from forza horizon.
