Man you are right about that haha. But its all worth it in the results for me, because there is truely nothing quite like properly clean black paint.

I washed my motorcycle yesterday/last night. I use a leaf blower to dry that bad boy. Theres no better way to make sure everything drys out. I just put on a pair of earplugs, then go to work for about 10-15 minutes

Then when it's dry, I oil the chain, then take it for a spin and get it hot :props:




 
Black Vehicles are an OCD'ers Nightmare. On perforated leather seats after using leather treatments I poke a toothpick in each of the 200,000 to 300,000 holes in the seats to make sure excess product is removed !
 
If I have to park the car in the sun at work, I go and move it out of the sun as SOON as a covered park becomes available.

Can't stand the thought of those UV rays on the car, and the heat building up on the dash material.

I keep a large baggie filled w/ those little paper shoe covers (booties) in my car. I have a procedure that I insist anyone allowed in my car must follow for donning the booties and getting in/out of my car, which also includes ensuring that they don't rub their foot accross the bottom of the door jam or the door panel. I also spent MANY hours writting several car care procedures, such as; Car Wash Procedure, Drying Procedure, Tire Dressing Procedure, Type 1 Water Spot Removal Procedure, Type 2 Water Spot Removal Procedure, Paint Polishing Procedure, Chrome and Stainless Steel Polishing Procedure, Car Waxing Procedure, etc, etc. Im the MAN My wife says :nomore: (I don't detail as a business or for others, the procedures are just notes for my personal use).

I give the interior in mine a good clean/protect once a week. Everything from extracting the mats to conditioning the leather, 303ing all the plastics, polishing/sealing the shifter knob.

I cannot stand to see a car that's perfectly polished/protected on the outside looking like a work truck on the inside. :buffing:
 
Connect my air-boy blow gun and blast off any dust whilst wiping with micro-fibre cloth.Then a quick spray with Expert pink spray wax to slicken the outside.This generally leads to a fast chrome wipedown and endurance gel on tyres...you guys know the story...
