The most over-rated products?

I second this!!!!!!!!! I believe one opened in Arizona also.

There is one in Cali, location on their website. Having lived here in the Chicagoland area since Dec 2009 (regular visitor since 2005) I can tell you Portillo's is THE premier beef sandwich in Chicago, not Al's IMHO. You can drive by any Portillo's and there's a line in the drive-thru where there's workers taking your order outside, its crazy! The quality is always spot on at Portillo's and great service too! Each restaraunt has a theme inside, usually retro, very cool. They also ship their goodness anywhere in the country, so those of you interested, order up!!!

On a side note, I take back my opinion on Sonax.

While I don't think it's very cost effective, it worked very well on some Lexus wheels I did today.

I suppose my prior use of the product was on wheels that weren't particularly dirty/caked with brake dust and grime. Still, I think I'd need to get the gallons to make it somewhat cost effective.

Because its so cost effective I always spray the panel/section down a lot and have NO problem with lubricity at all.

If anything, ONR at lube strength is a little TOO slick, I dilute it a bit more and it works great.

At 2oz per gallon? I found that I needed excessive amounts of product to get the clay to glide. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but others work better.

I agree with your observations. I keep some Sonax on hand just in case, but IMHO it's wasteful to use it on regularly maintained wheels.

I'm probably catch some flak from this but, for me, its UTTG. It's not that it doesn't do what it is supposed to do...its that its so messy and a real bear to remove. Once I finally managed to get everything cleaned up...I used quartz dlux on my trim and love it.

I agree with the hard to remove part of that. It does do its job but if it gets on paint its a PITA to remove. That and I find it very hard to spread even on tires. Always turns out a streaky mess.
