The new Top Gear TV show

I was addicted to the old, original show and will admit to not liking the new one mainly due to my constant comparison. To me it's not the same and it's excruciating watching Chris and Matt trying to be. The only thing i do like is the occassional Eddie Jordan appearances.
 
Rory Reid seems to be a pretty good guy but with so many hosts you don't get a chance to get to know them and what they like and dislike.

Chris Harris seems to be more and more involved with the show now. So that is a great thing. I think that with time they will find their own formula and make it work. Anyway, what else am I gonna watch now that Game of Thrones has ended ;(
 
Chris Harris is the future of the show. As a US American (hopefully someone gets that) I expect a smug but confident Brit on the show, he is that and that's a good thing, it's what I've come to expect. Maybe Rory Reid and the old guy who looks like Roger Daultry a little bit could be the rest of the show.

That is very good news. I have not watched yesterday's episode yet so that is probably one of his last ones. Looking forward to more Chris Harris and Matt Leblanc ;)
 
I hope Sabine is out too! This is definitely good news for the show :D

I guess I missed the motorsports exam for being a car guy. That is not my car in the avatar and I do drive a Prius.

Can someone else let me know what I need to know about for being a car guy, there's a lot I need to know/learn I guess. Please help me out, I would appreciate it, thank you everyone.

Maybe it's just me but fat Germans make me think of emaciated concentration camp prisoners.

I also watched the first 2 of this "new" version. I personally don't mind Evans... he's a bit of a kook, but he's not pretentious which is a breath of fresh air to me. At first I wondered how Leblanc got the gig, but I remember he was quite the driver, and so far he's doing a good job as co-host. I also like the new "rally car" challenge for the celebrities. So far it has my interest and I will continue to watch.

I DO hope they come into their own and figure out their own "schtick".
