The newest fan of ONR

When you do the quarter wash first, do you dry the car and then follow with the ONR? I know from experience that I tend to see a lot of spotting if any of the panels dry before I get to them with a waffle towel or a soft MF and QD....

I do not dry as it ( the quarter wash ) will only remove the top layer of dirt, so I just drive the car to our underground garage and then do the usual rinseless wash. Not only is this safer and smarter it makes the wash go a lot faster as there's less dirt and grime.

As far as the spotting goes I believe that's going to come down to the type of water you have, we've got city water so spotting has really never been an issue other than usual water drying spots but that just goes away when you've done the rinseless w/o a penalty.
