The OFFICIAL Duragloss Enviroshild review thread, everyone!

I would highly doubt you can mix a coating with water to make a QD. Big difference between the products.

Without going back I hope I didn't miss speak:o I'm talking about taking DG rinseless and making a QD, as well as clay lube and odcoarse washing your car with it.

***UPDATE***

After not touching the wife's car for about 3 weeks I did a DG rinseless and let me tell you this, it was dirty and salty, cleaned up real easy and looks awesome! I mixed in a speedy prep towel wipe with the wash too.

I may have strayed away from leaving the coating alone on my own my car but its still going strong on her car, the DGNCC is a winner on a "normal" persons DD, this much I know.

How are you guys doing with your DGNCCFeed back please

I'll be able to let you know something in a few weeks. I had mentioned that we traded in the wife's G37 which was doing really nicely with DGNCC.

That car was coated in April of this year and was traded in, August of this year. During that time I did not mess with it at all. It had two coats applied in 70 degree weather and behaved beautifully. The beading and sheeting was really good, the car cleaned up easily and even bird poo didn't stick.

It's important for me to reiterate that I did not top it with anything. It was washed, dried and left alone.

I just coated my car...done the same way as the wife's old car. Two coats applied 24 hours apart, after claying (nano skin actually) polishing, and 2 IPA wipe downs. The wife's new car will be done soon (not exactly sure when) but I'll report back with how my car is doing in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned....

Glad to hear you had such great luck with your DGNCC and I think I remember your post about it. BTW what kind of car did you get that you just applied it to, just curious, pics?

I just used it on my Audi S4. I'll get some pics up in the next day or so. The car is white (Audi says...Glacier White Metallic) so it doesn't pop like other colors, but I'll do my best to get some good shots.

I just picked this up as a Cyber Buster!! I can't wait to try it out. If not for anything else, I'm thinking of primarily using it as a headlight/taillight lens coating and for my girlfriend's neglected car after I correct her paint.

If you were to only use it for headlights it would literally last forever, LOL:p

Sounds good. Please keep us posted on how this works out.

@boosteddub69: pretty fly, for a white car! ;)

Great work mate.

Kind Regards.

Today I washed my car after two coats of enviroshield and the water rolled right off. The car cleaned up easy, but I noticed I created some swirls on my hood. I think it was because I continue to use my 12 year old california duster. I think I need to replace it. I then qd'ed the car with aqua wax and the car looked and smelled great.

Does anyone know how deep a layer one or two coats of enviroshield leaves behind? Is it comparable to opticoat and cquartz?

Just bought the kit on sale last night! Super excited and will read through this (long) thread.

How much was the kit?

Well $49.99 with the 25% off sale = about $35.

One question, I remember reading that people aren't applying the coating with these applicators. That Duragloss provided them just so we could have something to use. How did you guys apply it? Foam block and suede cloth?

I used the yellow applicators with no problem. They do not appear to be abrasive if that's the worry. I applied it right after menzerna 4000 and would have seen swirls if it was.

I prefer using a square, cotton applicator, seems a foam applicator is just too abrasive for my tastes.

It's been sleeping/snowing and raining today and my wife's Mazda 6 has great beading😎 Not sure I applied it but this car is washed every couple weeks, so the test is a good one.

The current pic of my wife's ride with DGNCC on it. Washed every couple weeks and has been run through both touch-free as we'll as soft touch washes too. The beading is great👍
