The Official SEMA 2013 Thread!

Just wondering who told you this because you're not the first person I've heard say this about SEMA this year, even despite what their website says.

I work for Gold Eagle who makes 303 Products, STA-BIL fuel stabilizer, etc. I'm not sure what it costs or how it all works out, but our booth is swamped on Fridays. I've always been told it's because it's open to the public.

Ha ha... I took this picture...

Atrocious to see a car like this at SEMA...

Looks like a 68 Cadillac Fleetwood that was brought to us to detail last week. Yes, we were correcting someone else's disaster.

See attached photo of after photo of Cadi

You mean thats not a special effect???

I think any forum member that actually makes an appearance at the AUTOGEEK SEMA booth should get a free gift :)

Only a couple more days till the show starts! Jason and I are flying out of West Palm Beach bright and early tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing some of you at the show. :dblthumb2:

Gotta love how the light catches it though. :D

Someone was in a real hurry and or stupid, they have to almost try to make it look that bad.....

Or they had a dirty wool pad on the rotary and running it at too high a speed and too slow across the paint....

I will be working on some cars and prepping them on Sat(tomorrow) for Sema.

Coverage Information

The final countdown has started and SEMA is just days away and I just wanted to let you all know that I will be covering the show this year in the typical Yancy fashion. Plus I was even given Media passes for extra access to the show. Yeah Baby!

I will be posting to this thread - http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/company-forum-news-headlines/71482-sema-2013-official-picture-coverage-information-thread.html (and the other official SEMA pic threads - see links below), the Autogeek Facebook page and the Autogeek Instagram account. So no matter how you want to follow me, you will be able to. So bookmark them, follow or like the pages listed below and get ready for coverage that will leave your mind blown, well maybe not blown but slightly overwhelmed. lol!

I might have to see about possibly doing a contest to see if anyone can guess how many photos I end up taking over the entire SEMA show, or the total steps/mileage that I end up walking. Hmmmmm.

I'm typing this message from 30,000 feet! Jason and I are on our way. Smooth sailing (flying?) so far.

As soon as we land we're going to grab a bite to eat and head over to the convention center.

:buffing:

HOW LONG IS THE FLIGHT!!!?

(Have to yell because you guys are so high up and so that you guys can hear)

Be safe and have a blast guys! :xyxthumbs:

We made it! Jason and I spent a couple hours at the convention center getting everything unpacked and ready for when the rest of the crew arrives tomorrow.

We're hanging out at the hotel room now about to grab a bite to eat.
