Nice write up on these cars by Road and Track. I bought my 1991 SE-R when I was 18 in March of 91. It was manufactured in 12/90 in Smyrna, TN (they dont make Sentra's in the US anymore).

It was not my original plan to keep the car, but I ended up holding on to it and somewhat restoring it to its original condition. Even though by today's standards, its hardly fast, it is still fun to drive.

The Original Sentra SE-R Is the Forgotten Performance Nissan You Should Buy Now

And yes, it has, and still does have single stage paint.

Very nice car Jaret!!! The condition is amazing for its age. I remember these cars when I was growing up.

One of the 1st in a group called "Pocket Rockets!!" Great car!!

Nice. It looks great.

My first car was a 1986 Stanza 2 door hatchback.

Other than my Genesis Coupe I've owned nothing but Nissan's since then.

Very cool car. Yours looks like it was kept in great shape.

That thing is in amazing condition! It has a LSD, right?

I've heard those things are amazing in the snow with just some snow tires, are killer!

Beautiful car! It did have an advantage in the reliability and fuel economy departments.

I always wanted one of those when I was in collage, but was simply too broke to afford it. By all accounts it was a great performance econo-box like the Fiesta ST is today.

Oh wow...all this time I thought the vehicle in your avatar was a Cressida (yakuza yacht). :props:

Speaking of "pocket rocket", here's one that most forgot, or have never even heard of:

Have owned multiple B13 SE-R and I am always on the hunt for one as a daily driver car. Just a few slight brake and suspension upgrades and they are a BLAST to drive!!
