The possibly grim future of "Just Half A Test"

so many wrong things with this post...I don't know where to start

I don't think Roshan has the time to buy a used car, and waste 40+ hours detailing it, and not get anything out of it...but that was a very good idea on your part, its not like there are any detailing videos out there that show neglected paint that has been polished to perfection

his videos are great whether he makes them or doesn't make them...so if he doesn't make something, how can it be great?

lastly, your signature is ironic... "Alot of questions, produce a lot of answeres. Which will equal a lot of knowlede. 1+1=2" ... if you are talking about knowlede, wouldn't it make sense to know how to spell knowledge when talking about knowledge? there's two other things wrong with your signature but I won't bother, the last time I corrected someone, some mod thought that was worthy of a ban, go figure

Yes it was meant to be very ironic and somewhat poetic, thank you for the heads up :D

Problem fixed (hopefully)

Either way Thank You,
Art

For the time being, screw detailing, keep your car clean and your grades up.

This is my plan (anyone is free to use it btw)

I am planning on buying a cosmetically neglected car and detailing the heck out of it. Then just give it away (for the most part, if I bought it or $1,500. I'd sell it for cost of materials plus the $1,500)

Solely for educational purposes.

This is long in the future and most likely won't video tape it.

This would be a great thing for you to attempt Roshan. (But when buying a used car, one always has to be cautious)

Your videos are always great and whether you do or don't continue making them.

Thank You for them

How does that make any sense at all? Honestly. Thanks btw for your permission to use that wonderful idea.

And yes that's why I said this would be my approach, but suggested in a friendly manner that it would be cool if Roshan posted videos of him restoring a car. He might or might not have the time, who knows...?

And like I said above ^ this will be MY plan,

It doesn't have to, I just would love to buy a car, restore it then sell it to the new grateful owner.

Either way just drop it, this is Roshan's thread not mine.

Roshan,
I am sure that all of us out here will be greatly missing your videos and we caan totally undndstand. You will not have the time that you did before.
All good and great things will come to an end sooner or later, that is just the way it is. As mentioned above by others keep you nose in your books and study hard, get good grades to prepare yourself for your future. Keep your car looking good as you always have and when you get the time, enjoy the posts and all your friends and followers here on the AGO.
I am sure I can speak for many, we will miss you, your videos and comments.
The best of luck with you move and settling in, you will do great.

WOW! Thank you very much for the kind words!

I hope to be able stay somewhat active on these forums and keep on posting :)

Roshan,
Having gone through Dental School myself I am well aware of the time constraints. For me personally, detailing my car is a great distraction from the stresses of working on teeth. I think you might find that detailing that camaro will give you a nice break from the stress of school. I did have some spare time now and then but usually spent it with friends relaxing rather than making, editing and uploading videos. If, however, you find the time to make a video here and there, that would be tremendous. Your videos are fun and educational. If not, no biggie, you've made a great contribution to the detailing community already. Good luck at school. It's VERY hard but I know you can do it.

Think of it this way, you already know how to detail your car, I am sure we might agree your on your way to your PHD..(Perfectly, Highly Detailed). You are now going to put away those detailing tools to learn how to use other ones to detail people mouths and make them perly whites.
CAn't wait to see your first videos on new topics, just remember don't use the same products. Your new APC will be a mouthwash...LOL
Take care study hard.

Well stated Sir!

Just to say, books first...then RELAX!

Only speaking from my past, when I first went 'to school' I had way too many other things in/on my mind other than the studying. My grades just went down the tubes. In other words, I all but flunked out. Had the draft looking at me VERY hard, so I enlisted.

Spent the next 13+ years in the service. Then at 36 years old went back to school. Even though I was working full time, married etc, I was able to concentrate on the 'books.'

I'm not saying age made the difference (it probably did), but the priorities were much more clear and defined.

I guess what I'm trying to convey is...study first then other things second. You've worked too hard to get where you are to have too many distractions getting the way.

As stated before...best of luck!

Bill
