The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

It's now Brilliant Black with an Organic Green Metallic Flake :)

Was funny up until my son wiped his hand across the top of the rear quarter panel.....ugh. Easy fix with 30 seconds of polish I suppose. Kids!
Teachable moment

yep...and he's getting schooled on the Flex 3401 when we do it :) The problem is he's only 13 and not a true "car guy" yet. I suppose that won't happen until he is 15 or so and looking to get into his own car. I remember drooling over mine as it sat in the garage awaiting my license vs just a learning permit.

Just some little love marks

This is my car after being rained on while I was in my 3rd day of jury duty. Funny thing is I haven't washed it since Sat, went to a cars and coffee and cruise on Sunday and been driving about 75 miles a day since Monday for this and today a number of people saw me walking to my car and know what I drive. One of the fellow jurors complimented me on my car and how the shine was and I said thank you and it's trashed to boot

IMO one of the best looking, true DD's on this site! It really shows what rims and a slight drop can do for a cars look, not to mention keeping it spotless😎

Hey Derek I'm thinking it's an XJL or Quattroporte now 🇩🇪 🇮🇹

Maybe GSKR is right, Mahzda does have an identity crisis but what it IS is a car to be absolutely considered along side the likes of Afford, Camry and Fusion, well Altima too which I'll never understand why there's sooooo many around, must be dirt cheap new and filthy on the used car market

Here's another Mahzda that was greatly improved with the addition of wheels. This time around the car went from boring 16" steelies and boring hubcaps (yeah, they still make those for some reason) to factory 19" Mahzda 6 wheels, namely, the ones off of Derek0609's ride. To be completely honest, this made an even bigger difference in looks than it did on Derek's ride because of its low key looks previously.

Congrats Hectour👍👍

While we're on the subject of daily drivers, I'd like to think that my 2010 Fusion - my daily driver for the past 2 years - looks pretty darn good for a car with 215,000 miles on it.

Was covered with spider web swirls when I bought it in 2014, but I was able to clean it up nicely with a Harbor Freight DA and a weekend's worth of work back in February 2015. It gets a wash nearly every weekend, and a wax/sealant about twice a year, with regular spray/quick wax application after each wash.

The chrome wheels were put on a little over a year ago.

Where do go to drive all those miles? I assume routine maintenance is religiously done, like coolant and trans fluid changes?

Back and forth to work, mainly. It's an 80 mile round trip to work. Add to that other regular errands, etc.. Yes, I do all the regular maintenance myself - oil changes, coolant, trans flush, spark plugs..

I fully plan to keep her until at least 350,000 miles.

Please keep us posted this is great to hear about that car! By the way is it A4 cylinder or 6 cylinder?

I certainly will! It's got the 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine. Got another crazy fact to share about the car. I replaced the plugs a week ago (last Sunday), and the plugs I pulled out were FoMoCo plugs (not Motorcraft), which as far as I know, are only normally installed in the factory. I checked the service record, and while the plugs should have been replaced around 100k miles, it appears they never were. It would seem these were the factory original plugs, and they were still functioning with 215,000 miles on them!

It's possible but amazing car nonetheless🇺🇸
