I WISH this is how my ride sat:

Lol. That’s funny.
We remember seeing them roll out of Poletown and who bought them around town, yes, we're old enough to remember when they were new and it was such a big deal because it made 300 hp in the STS, same power as a Corvette but with 1.2 less litres.

I’m still impressed with all the features that come with a 1998-2002 Seville STS. I wish mine was a 2002. My current 97’ interior is the same as my old 92’ Eldorado except the Eldorado Touring Coupe had a full woodgrain dash.

So met up with a fellow Red Sport owner who is local and wanted to check out my Sport Exhaust and the piggy back unit I am running. It was a cold cloudy day in Ohio as per typical winter but I fired off a couple quick pics nonetheless. He's not into detailing but I think I might be able to help him out. Here's mine sitting freshly washed and sporting two coats of CarPro Bliss over top of the existing two coats of McKee's 37 SiO2 Coating applied last month.

What happened in 2002?

Nothing too crazy. I just figure that year is closer to that model in its prime of 02-04 instead of the earlier models of 98-01 with the same body style. Plus they say that by 2002 the Northstars aren’t as prone to the dreaded head gasket failure. 97’ Cadillacs are supposedly among the worst of all when it comes to the Northstar head gasket failure. *knock on wood*

Then they went from needing 93 to 87, good move

I’d honestly still pump 91 into it. I’ve never pumped anything but 91 into any of my Caddies.

We don’t have 93 in California*

If the ecu advances when you add premium than fine but if not, waste of money
