The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Good looking ride there custmsprty, looks amazing, I like the blue on the tips!

First thing I did was hit the quarter wash before going to cars and coffee, just to get the top layer off. You see our garage door has a broken spring so I wasn't able to wash my car properly yesterday and besides, I spent 9 hrs on that red Nova yesterday.

When I got home I got after the wash, properly. This time I used Ech2o (1.5 oz in 3 gallons of water and threw in 6 towels, ala GD method) I always pre-treat of coarse and used my 1000 ml Kwazzer for that. It never gets old how easy this product works and gloss left behind, awesome! On a coated car like mine it's 1 of 2 products I use as far as RW and WW, the other being N914. I also did the usual tire/wells/wheel cleaning first but lastly I did something else.

My ESSEESSE badge has been fading over 4 years and had a couple of the hooks on letters S broken off, so it was time to remove it. I used automotive Goo Gone and dental floss. Once off I grabbed an all purpose mf towel and got to rubbing off the old glue and it did all come off. Now I can replace it or something else might be go over and around the entire area, stay "tuned"

No rain but not much sun.....yet. It's clearing up and tomorrow is supposidly going to be nice. At least temps are in the 50's.

Have them both outside while I wash down the garage floor.

I originally used Griot's engine bay dressing but that was last year. I always wipe it clean after every wash. I'm sure I appllied something else since then but the one thing about the GG product is it's an aerosol, so a washing of the car after spraying is in order...or maybe spray into your applicator.

Thank you again

Thanks! Not sure i can get that in UK. I was going to get carpro reload as i hear that is pretty good for plastics and engine bays

I'm sure there's an engine bay specific product available to you over there but honestly, you just need a quality plastic and rubber product and maybe build up a couple coats and maintain with your favorite RW or WW to remove the top layer of dust. I say "clean as you go", never give the grit a chance to stick around in the engine bay. Speaking of that I really only do 1, maybe 2, engine bay cleanings a year and McKee's makes a very good one

Just gave the tires a refresh with Eldo's favorite!

The Griots?
I think you should buy some and do a review. Everyone who has tried it has told me they really like it and as you can see in the pic above, the tire looks great Btw it's made in America too!

I FINALLY got a 49* day with sunshine and no rain. It was kind of windy and that made it a bit colder, but I dealt with it :xyxthumbs: .

All I did was a semi-quick 2 bucket wash and dried using microfibers and D115 as an aid. It looks good in the pic and at a glance, BUT I can tell that the winter has taken it's toll on the finish and it is in desperate need of polishing OR a good session with the buffer and some D151 Paint Rejuvenation Creme.

Keeping it simple:
