I did the opposite, went from a White Diamond Tricoat ATS4 to a Phantom Black Metallic SS.:doh:

After an ONR wipedown at a local cruise. It ended up pouring rain 3 separate times. I only cleaned it up after the first one, and left just as shower #3 started.

Not noticeable from the pic, but with 6k miles only, the rockers and leading edge of the 1/4 panels have a fair bit of paint damage from road debris (sand/gravel used in snow/ice) from the winter drive from Detroit to Anchorage. The rest of the vehicle has excellent paint still. I’m using up my old Zaino products as far as polish goes.

Weekends are for cleaning and detailing and driving to random locations to get that perfect picture :xyxthumbs:

It's fun to be a forum member! The distance seems so small around the world when pictures and videos is so easy shared and high quality. And how we share our experience and work and knowledge about methods and much more is awesome.
