First real drive in some wet weather since putting the winter shoes back on. Now I've applied several different tire dressings on but here's what the tire looks like after 2 days of driving in wet weather and its dried up The OPT tire coating must doesn't play well with my Blizzaks or my 3 season tires. Yeah it could be because I never got them completely clean but TW tire coating NEVER did this. When I get new tires before the Dragon run next year I'm not applying anything to them for a while and then and only then will I give OPT tire coating another try

I recently had my first experience with a tire coating, the latest version from McKee’s 37. Thankfully it was applied to 3 vehicles but not mine. It is the first McKee’s 37 product I don’t like at all. Lasted about 2 washes. And I used an entire bottle of tire and rubber rejuvenator per set and the foam was completely white. The towel I dried the tires with could have gone back on the clean pile and no one would guess it was used to dry tires. They were that clean. Multiple brands of tires as well, Continental, Michelin, and Pirelli. I’ll continue using Perl because that one is fantastic, I don’t care I have to apply every wash.

Big Gretch didn't enjoy your experience either

Yeah it’s not as good as the last version. It seems to last longer if more layers are applied after a few washes. That is what I did and it seems to last longer.

It’s rather disappointing how it loses its look so fast.

Some more work to do on it yet, but no bad so far, need to Apply Polish yet. This is just Wolfgang swirl remover with LC CYAN Hydro-Tech PAD and Wolfgang DGPS. Used the G110V2 Polisher, waiting on the FLEX 3401 currently before I start again. I need to do the Jeep SUV too, been awhile for both of them, the Jeep just needs to be polished I believe, not in too bad of shape.

Having worked big hours in the last week, relief was found in the form of the Mustang this morning. The Coyote howled loudly and proudly!

@Acura my wife would is jealous she loves snow. Here in San Antonio it never snows.

Only snows for a couple hours and that’s very, very rare.

Oh well, we’ll live lol

Trying out a new foam canon today. This one is from Mother Nature's Brand. It's called simply "Snow"

Sorry, not a fan of that brand, its application or results. It's been proven countless times it turns people stupid when they see it being used the first time every year even though they've seen it used their entire lives

My car sits out side 24/7...but I take care of the car all the time...since the virus I have plenty of time ....I live in Fl. and we had a good rain the other night and it washed all the dust off...so today I used WF SIO2 waterless wash to make sure the paint was cleaned...then I used BF paint sealant ...and to me the car looks great...View attachment 71722View attachment 71723View attachment 71724

Yep. Funny how people "forget" to drive in the snow. It also brings out all the AWD/4WD vehicles. I played around with egging a subi STi on today from a dig but hanging the tail out a bit. I think he figured he'd get me off the line. Too bad for him he's not the only AWD vehicle around. ;)
