The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

Went out for lunch and weather was perfect so took my car. When parking I saw the puddle and didn’t want to leave the driver’s side wheel in it so I pulled forward a little more than usual. Got super lucky as I had about half inch between the painted lip and the curb. Almost scraped it.

That color is poppin'....can almost see some jade in there

Glad you didn't scrape, next time just roll into the puddle...slowly, the tread isn't going to mind

I didn’t want to leave it in the water and mess up my tire dressing haha :D

I hadn't really dug that car until I saw it in blue.
That blue is some special edition, has those rear quarter stripes I didn't like the car until I walked up on one...S T U N N I N G

I like this new Supra and if I could afford one, I’d swap my GTI for it.
Man I'd settle for the 4 pot Supra even...on 2nd thought, at that point, I'd get a Miata Club w/BBS package and Recaros but since I can't afford either one I'll just enjoy the ES

Your Elantra looks a million times better than a Miata.

...then there's the driving dynamics and that new engine...7500 rpm redline

I’m sure it’s fun to drive but looks so girly.
I know this is one of the most cliche' sayings out there but WITH ALL DUE RESPECT, saying a Miata is "girly" is usually made by someone who's never driven one or......

I have never driven one. But it’s just the styling, I’m sure we all have our own opinion on the looks of it. Another car that I hear is fantastic but I also wouldn’t want to own is an Audi TTRS. It’s gotten better with the last model but I still think it has a design that I can’t see a dude driving.

Would this one be more masculine?

WOW...well I could go down a different road here but I'm not I should let you know I've owned a Crossfire coupe, Mini Cooper S and Abarth 500...all 3 pedals FWIW and 100% secure in my masculinity...and a conservative as well!

...I forgot about my CR-Z and Fit, probably "girly" cars too I'll find a pic of the Crossfire

Yeah, cars aren’t what define one’s masculinity. If I see a guy driving one I don’t think of him any less, good for him. I just don’t want it for myself. Like guys that wear pink shirts, they probably super confident, I just never consider doing it myself.

Of those cars you owned/listed above, let’s just say I only like the Elantra and to a point, the Fit. I have ridden in an Abarth and Mini and both were super fun but I’d never own one.

It’s got a nice engine and probably beat on many cars I’d like to own but to answer your question, no, this one doesn’t look any better.
I get it, it still doesn't look quite right. If I was to get an MX-5, and I have thought about it, as a weekend fun car, it would have to be an NC series with the folding metal roof, like the one below. My only concern is space, I'm not tall, but I'm double wide. View attachment 73595View attachment 73596
